15th ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY FOR CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE
SUNDAY DECEMBER 5, 2015
Since 2001 A Step Closer Foundation, Inc. and Randall & Sonnier, LLC have co-sponsored an Annual Children’s Holiday Party for foster care youth in the community. Each December, a holiday gathering is held to ensure children have a day of fun and receive at least one gift during the Holiday season. Children living in various placements and group homes in the state of Maryland are invited to spend time with those who care for them as well as other youth and family members. Children enjoy an afternoon of free activities, crafts, refreshments, 2 or more gifts as well as a chance to win extraordinary prizes.

OUR SINCERE THANKS to all of our 2014 Supporters, Donors and wonderful Volunteers who gave of their time, money, and talents to make this year’s party a great success! Thank you also to the Monumental City Bar Foundation Grant Committee who facilitated our “Trash Bags to Travel Bags” giveaway to over 100 pre-teen and teen attendees. And most of all, thank you to the foster care youth and families who came in the holiday spirit to take part in the fun and cheer on December 7, 2014 at Hot Skates Roller Rink!

On Saturday November 15, 2014 from 10:30 am- 1:30 pm this fun event featured workshops on business etiquette, chivalry, and respect! Registration also included our Etiquette Luncheon which will highlight and help sharpen your table manners and dining etiquette skills. Get fancy and dress in your business attire!

On Saturday June 7th Youth ages 10-18 yrs. old took part in this fun activity by digging beneath the surface to explore the impact of social media in theirr everyday lives!
